Spread the joy of the season through our Memory Lane Giving Tree, a special way to share Christmas cheer with local seniors.
🏀 Jingle Bell Jubilee Championship Games
Our town’s spirit shines both on and off the court! Don’t miss the excitement of the Jingle Bell Jubilee Basketball Tournament Championship Games happening at the school the very same day.

Memory Lane Christmas – Giving Tree
Honoring the Past, Blessing the Present
This year marks the inaugural launch of Memory Lane Christmas, a new tradition within Zavalla’s annual Come Home to Christmas Celebration.
Hosted by Zavalla Prairie Community Connections, this program is designed especially for seniors in need—those who are homebound, living alone during the holiday season, or former Zavalla residents now residing in area nursing homes.
How It Works
- Families and friends can register the name and needs or wishes of a Zavalla-area senior who is homebound, living alone, or in a nursing home.
- At the Christmas Market (during our Come Home to Christmas Event on the first Saturday in December), anonymous cards with each senior’s age, needs, and wishes will be placed on a beautiful Giving Tree.
- Event attendees can select a card from the tree, purchase the requested items, and return the gifts by December 18th to our designated drop-off location.
- Our team will lovingly wrap and deliver the gifts to the residents before Christmas, ensuring they feel remembered and cared for.
- Can’t shop? You can still be part of this effort by making a donation to help fulfill the needs and wishes of registered seniors.

The holiday season can be a lonely time for seniors who are isolated, homebound, or far from family. Memory Lane Christmas is more than giving gifts—it’s about sharing joy, dignity, and companionship with those who have built the foundation of our community.
